How this board is put together

A sports board follows a team, league or competition through the week: game-day chatter, video highlights, roster news and the fan posts that get the most love. It is busiest on game days, so the Match day column earns its spot.

All the columns share the same search term, (unc OR "tar heels"), and then narrow it. Latest columns open X's Latest tab sorted by time. Media columns open the Media tab, and Top columns open the default ranking, which favors posts with more engagement.

Make it fit

  • Add the team's official hashtag or handle with OR inside the brackets of the search term to catch posts that never spell out the name.
  • Highlights and Match day are noisy on rival teams' game days. Add -from: for accounts you don't want to see.
  • Engagement thresholds like min_faves: and min_retweets: are rough. Raise them if a column is noisy, drop them if it stays empty.
