About Power Search

Power Search is a planner for search boards on X. You build a board of columns, each one a saved search with its own label, colour and operators, and open the columns on x.com when you want to read them. It is meant for people who check X for work: support teams, social media managers, reporters, recruiters, event organizers and researchers.

What it does

The planner on the home page writes each column as an ordinary x.com/search address. When you click Open in X, your browser goes to that address and X runs the search. Boards are saved in your own browser, can be exported as a JSON file, and can be shared as a single link that carries the whole board.

The keyword boards are ready-made boards for about 150 topics. They are written from recipes that fit each kind of subject, so a sports team gets match-day and highlight columns while a product gets questions, problem reports and reviews. The guides explain how to plan a board and which operators to use.

What it doesn't do

Power Search doesn't connect to X's API, doesn't scrape X and never shows you posts itself. It can't send alerts, store results or post on your behalf. Everything you see after clicking a column comes from X, in your own X session.

That keeps the site simple and free, and it means your boards never pass through our server. It also means X's own limits apply: you need to be signed in to see search results, and search coverage, operators and ranking are X's to change.

The 2026 relaunch

twitterpowersearch.com was relaunched in 2026 under new, independent management. The site has no connection to earlier owners of the domain. The original site, around 2009 to 2013, was a real-time Twitter search page with a page for each trending keyword; the keyword boards are a nod to that idea, rebuilt as plain X searches.

Who we are

The site is written and maintained by the Power Search Team. We write the guides from our own use of X search and test the operators we recommend, though X changes how search behaves from time to time without notice.

Power Search is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp. "X" and "Twitter" are trademarks of X Corp. and are used here only to describe what the planner works with.
