How this board is put together

A product board splits the conversation into what people need from you: help, bug reports, opinions and news. Questions and problem reports move fast during a launch or an update, so keep those two columns near the left.

All the columns share the same search term, (3ds OR "nintendo 3ds"), and then narrow it. Latest columns open X's Latest tab sorted by time. Media columns open the Media tab, and Top columns open the default ranking, which favors posts with more engagement.

Make it fit

  • After an update, add the version number to the Problems column so older complaints drop away.
  • If a column picks up unrelated posts, add a second required word, such as the maker's name or the product category.
  • Engagement thresholds like min_faves: and min_retweets: are rough. Raise them if a column is noisy, drop them if it stays empty.
